Position overview

GLOBAL MIRAIZ is hiring a passenger transport operations manager as its chauffeur business and safety-management structure expand.

The role supports safe commercial vehicle operations through driver roll calls, health and alcohol checks, duty rosters, working-time and rest management, safety instruction and vehicle oversight.

This is broader than dispatch administration: you will manage drivers, vehicles, bookings and working time under applicable law and company safety policy.

We seek an experienced operations manager who prioritises safety, accuracy and service quality.

Working hours
Eight working hours plus a one-hour break on a shift between 9:00 and 19:00; examples are 9:00–18:00 and 10:00–19:00. Hours may be adjusted for operations and assigned shifts. Overtime is handled under law and company rules.

  • Pre-, post- and required interim roll calls
  • Alcohol-check records
  • Driver health, fatigue, sleep and licence checks
  • Duty rosters, dispatch plans and vehicle assignment
  • Booking, driver and vehicle verification
  • Working time, duty span, rest and holiday management
  • Dispatch instructions, roll-call and duty records
  • Safety instruction and new-driver training
  • Initial incident, delay, complaint and lost-property response
  • Vehicle inspection and maintenance scheduling
  • Regulatory filings and appointment procedures
  • Driver, vehicle and training records
  • Legal and internal-rule updates
  • Cross-team coordination
  • Risk and improvement reporting

Required qualifications

A valid Operations Manager Certificate applicable to passenger transport and relevant practical experience are required.

  • Knowledge of general passenger car, chauffeur or taxi operations management
  • Practical operations, dispatch or driver-management experience
  • A valid ordinary driver licence
  • Professional Japanese for roll calls, instruction, regulatory documents and reporting
  • Basic PC, email, spreadsheet and work-system skills
  • Safety-first judgement
  • Calm, prompt incident response
  • Compliance with law, licensed areas, working-time rules and company policies

Preferred qualifications

  • Chauffeur/taxi operations management
  • Formal appointment as an operations manager
  • 24-hour or shift-operation management
  • Dispatch, rosters, vehicles and incident response
  • Driver education and safety instruction
  • Regulatory filing experience
  • Maintenance manager or assistant operations manager experience
  • Additional work languages
